These indexes are arranged by the first letter of the deceased’s surname and include the estate number, date of death, dates for the letters of administration or letter testamentary, to whom the letters were granted and the will book and page number. Also included are the names of the sureties, the date and value of the estate inventory, the date and value of items sold at public auction [vendue list], and the date the accounts were settled along with the balance at hand and balance due the account.
